Our Strategy

The Wirral Waterfront initiative vigorously pursued seven inter-linked strategic objectives. These were:

Strategic Objective One
To promote the capacity of Birkenhead Pathways' residents to become actively involved in the development and management of their neighbourhood

Strategic Objective Two
To support Birkenhead Pathways' residents to improve their learning opportunities and employability

Strategic Objective Three
To create a healthier and safer environment within Birkenhead Pathways

Strategic Objective Four
To provide access to employment for individuals most severely excluded from the labour market across Wirral

Strategic Objective Five
To maximise employment opportunities through encouraging entrepreneurship in the Employment Corridor

Strategic Objective Six
To enhance economic opportunities in strategic sites within the Employment Corridor

Strategic Objective Seven
To promote sustainable environmental renewal within the Employment Corridor
